I was able to figure this out. I followed these steps to upgrade:
-Install SQL 2012
-Re-install the list adapter component to get the SharePointListAdapter.dll into the correct 110 directory
-Open the .dtsx package (ignore all of the errors)
-Replace the old SharePoint destinations/sources with the new component
-Make sure to open the new ones up and select your SPCRED connection
-Save
-Replace old job in scheduler (if applicable)
